Hirata Hiroaki (平田広明, August 7, 1963 - ) is a Japanese voice actor (seiyuu) and actor born in Tokyo, Japan. After graduating from high school and Subaru Acting School, he became a member of Subaru Theatre Company. He made his acting debut in the Subaru production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in 1986.
At the end of April 2012, he left the theatrical troupe of which he'd been a member of for 27 years. Then on May 1, 2012 he launched his own company, Hirata Production Japan. He remains active in drama as well as dubbing foreign films, animation, narration, and so on.

- Won Best Voice Actor for Kaburagi T. Kotetsu/Wild Tiger(Tiger and Bunny) at the 11th Tokyo Anime Award in 2011
- Won Best Actor at the 6th Seiyuu Awards in 2012
- Ranked 25 in TV Asahi's "200 popular seiyuu seriously chosen! Seiyuu election! 3 hour special" on January 9, 2017
