Synopsis

Shingyouji Kaya's former colleage Kubota commits a crime and then commits suicide. Kaya opens up an investigation on this case as he holds doubts about his former friend's death. During this Kaya realizes that there was a case that Kubota was previously in charge of that was closed in a strange way. Uneasy links between government officials, gangs, police chiefs... There's no proof. There are no logical explanations. Even so Kaya, feeling there is "something" there, goes ahead with the investigation on his own and discovers an unfathomable, oppressive truth.
