This template or it's shortcut {{tl|Cni}} is used to format the catalog number in CD infoboxes. Unnamed or named paramters may be used. If a parameter needs to be skipped then named or numbered parameters should be used, otherwise an empty space must be left. If the catalog numbers are splitting between two lines then use the {{tl|Catalog number entry}} or {{tl|cne}} shortcut, which uses a non-breaking hyphen.
