	This is a documentation subpage for Template:Infobox R18 CD. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This is a template for use on R-18 CD pages. The purpose of this template is to display the features of the CD at a glance.

Syntax

When using it, copy the text below and paste it at the beginning of each R-18 CD page. For each item, enter only the items that have information. Do not delete the parameters that do not have information. The only exception would be creator parameters, genre parameters, and Prev CD & Next CD parameters; those that aren't needed for the CD can be removed.

Parameters

|Title Romaji=

Title of the CD in Romaji.

|Title Kanji=

Title of the CD in Kanji.

|Cover=

Use the {{Cover image}} template for CDs with a single cover or the {{Multiple covers}} template for CDs that have more than one cover, for example a Regular Edition and a Limited Edition. Visit both template pages for instructions on how to use them. If there is not a cover image available then leave this blank and a default image will be used automatically.

|English Translation=

The English translation of the title.

|Offical English=

If the original source for the CD is licensed put the official English licensed title here. This can usually be found on the licensors websites.

|Based On=

What the source material for the CD is. Enter one of these options: Manga, Novel, Game, Scenario, or Unknown. Use Based On 2 when the cd has two source material. (If we need more than 2 please do let me know)

|Mangaka=, |Author=, |Scenarist=, and |Illustrator=

Depending on the source material of the cd you will enter the names of the creators in one or more of these fields. The names should be entered using the {{C infobox}} template. Visit the template page for instructions on how to use it. Any parameters not used may be removed.

Generally for Manga sources you will use the {{|Mangaka= parameter. If the manga has a separate author and artist then use the |Author= and |Illustrator= parameters respectively.

For Novel sources use the |Author= and |Illustrator= parameters.

For Original Scenario' and Game sources use the |Scenarist= and |Illustrator= parameters.

For those CDs with multiple creators in the same field |Mangaka2= - |Mangaka5=, |Author2= - |Author5=, |Scenarist2= - |Scenarist5=, |Illustrator2= - |Illustrator5= may be used to add the extra creators.

|CD Type=

The kind of CD is it. This parameter has a default vaule of R-18. Example: R-18 CD, Talk CD

|Genre 1= - |Genre 6=

The genres for the CD, listed alphabetically. Up to six genre are supported, there is no default value so please include at least one. Any unused parameters can be removed. For any genre that are multiple words and break between lines please include a {{nobr}} around them. Example: {{nobr|Slice of Life}}

|Producer=

When the writer is the production company or individual different from the Scenarist, that goes here. The name should be entered using the {{C infobox}} template.

For CDs with multiple producers, |Producer2= - |Producer5= can be used.

|Dummy Head=

If a Dummy Head Mic is being used, then put a Yes here.

|Company=

The company that released/published the CD. Check the standardized company names list for formatting.

|Reprint Company=

If the CD was reprinted by a different company than the original. Check the standardized company names list for formatting.

|Runtime=

The length of the CD. Use the {{Runtime infobox}} template, visit the template page for usage instructions. If the CD is only 1 Disc without included benefits then it can be entered with or without using the template. If the runtime is unknown then leave this field blank. If the CD is multiple discs but the runtimes are unknown use the template with the proper number of discs but leave the other parameters blank.

|Catalog Number=

The catalog/product number for the CD if one exists. Use the {{Catalog number infobox}} template to enter this, check the template page for usage instructions. If there is a single catalog number then it can be entered with or without the template. If there is no known catalog number then leave this field blank.

|Release Date=

The date the CD was released. Use the {{Release date infobox}} template to properly format the date. Visit the template page for usage instructions. The template allows for the proper inclusion of limited edition, reprints, re-releases, and other editions.

|Related=

If there are any related CDs or series but isn't part of the same series, include them here.

|Series=

If the CD is part of multiple series. Use the {{Series multi}} template. Visit the template page for usage information.

|Prev CD=

If the CD is part of a series, put the name of the Previous CD here. This parameter may be removed if not needed.

|Next CD=

If the CD is part of a series, put the name of the Next CD here. This parameter may be removed if not needed.
