Yamada Eiko (山田栄子, June 13, 1954 - ) is a Japanese voice actress (seiyuu) and stage actress born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She previously belonged to Aoni Production and is currently affiliated with 81 Produce.
She changed her name to Hisamura Eiko (久村栄子) after her marriage, but used her maiden name, Yamada for a long time afterward, so that name is still often used, even among fans. In many cases, fans aren't even aware of her name change.
Yamada has voiced many characters in the World Masterpiece Theater anime series from Nippon Animation, including Anne Shirley from Akage no Anne and Jo from Ai no Wakakusa Monogatari.
