BIO
After working for a railroad company, he graduated from Yoyogi Animation Gakuin school in Osaka and made a career switch to become a seiyuu. In March 2009, he left the Tokyo Actor’s Consumer’s Cooperative Society and went freelance for a short period. In June 2009, he joined Air Agency.
Being the same age as fellow seiyuu Ono Daisuke, Hino Satoshi, Suganuma Hisayoshi, Tachibana Shinnosuke, Fukuyama Jun, and Majima Junji, they created a unit called “Project DABA” (the letter “D” is written inverted). His nickname in DABA is “Fondo Veau.”
He and Ono Daisuke are active in the dance vocal unit “DAT,” which was born from their popular radio program “Ono Daisuke Kondo Takayuki Yume Hougen~ Dragon&Tiger.”
On April 30, 2017, he left Air Agency and went freelance.
He is a special lecturer at Japan New Art College.

- Ono Daisuke is his close friend and their hobby is to visit temples and shrines together.
- He is also good friends with Suganuma Hisayoshi, who lives in the same neighborhood as him. They often gather at Suganuma’s house to watch idol PVs or play board games.
- He isn’t good with riding planes or heights.
- He’s a big fan of pro wrestling.
