He had the experience of spending his childhood in Jakarta. He spent 2 years studying theatre in the Department of Literature at Meiji University. Originally he thought he wanted to make films and had interest in acting. After successfully passing the Engeki Shuudan En non-degree course, he took a temporary leave from school and became active in theatre. After that, he returned to school and graduated.
His seiyuu debut was in the 1995 anime “H2.” Since then, he has been actively engaged in theatre, TV drama, movie appearances, narration, radio, etc.
