I went through all the templates and modules that were taken from Wikipedia, making changes to more personalize them to our wiki. I also added a ton of new templates, some from Wikipedia but most made from scratch, to be used on various pages on the wiki in an attempt to make most of the formatting standardized without editors needing to have spreadsheets of format information. I have pretty much started thinking of templates like stylesheets.

I am still working on updating these templates:

• Infobox Seiyuu -- Note: Will be renaming Infobox Voice Actor
• Infobox Situation CD
• Broke up Tokuten into seperate templates for each CD Type

Still to Be Implemented

These templates and modules haven't been created yet. They generally have to do with the upcoming changes to Seiyuu, Creator, and Company pages. Although there are a few from the yet implemented changes to Reading, Radio, and Situation CD pages. These list will probably end up increasing, Penguinplushie seems to like making templates. :D

Overview

I went into this formatting update originally with the idea of standardizing a lot of the formatting in the infoboxes and CD pages. This eventually spilled over into the Seiyuu, Creator, and Company pages as well.

I also wanted to make the process easier for editors to input the information, so that they won't need long lists of how to enter what on a particular page. I tried to make most of the template names as easy/memerable as possible. I've updated the How to pages to try and help with this as well.

General Changes

These are the changes that were implemented for all CD pages.

Infobox Changes

• Add 2 space gap in front of each | parameter
• Changed Title Romanji to Title Romaji
• Changed Image to Cover
• Cover now has a default generic image
• Cover is now implemented with {{Cover image}} & {{Multiple covers}}
• Added Official English
• Based On only needs the type; 'Manga', 'Novel', and so on
• Mangaka, Author, Scenarist, and Illustrator now uses {{C infobox}} & {{c}}
• Made removal of creator parameters that aren't needed possible
• Genre now uses {{Hlist}} to create a list when there are multiple entries
• Company now uses {{C infobox}} & {{c}}
• Added Reprint Company
• Runtime now uses {{Runtime infobox}} or {{rti}} for multiple discs and included benefits
• Catalog Number now uses {{Catalog number infobox}} or {{cni}}
• Release Date now uses {{Release date infobox}} or {{rdi}}
• Series now uses {{Series multi}} for CDs in multiple series (there are only a handful of these but still)
• Added optional Prev CD and Next CD for CDs in a single series

Page Changes

• Reformat the level 2 headers to have a space before and after the text, and to use sentence case instead of title case.
• Added {{Collapsed toc}} to move and by default have the table of contents collapsed.
• Now use {{Source}} or {{S}} for adding sources to Synopsis.
• Now use {{Baka-Updates}} or {{bu}} for adding Baka-Updates source to Synopsis.
• Updated {{Cast listing}} to an automatic bullet list.
• Now use {{Cast listing entry}} or {{cle}} for cast list entries and supports aliases.
• Now use {{Track list}} or {{Tlist}} for track lists.
• Added a '/s' to Tokuten CD
• Now use {{Tokuten}} for tokuten CDs.
• Removed images from External Links section.
• Now use {{Company link}}, {{Amazon}}, {{Animate}}, {{Pokedora}}, and {{DL site}} for External Links section.
• Use {{CD nav}} to add Navboxes to the CD pages, color coded by CD Type.

BLCD Changes

These changes only affected BLCD pages.

Infobox Changes

• Added Based On 2 parameter for those situations where there are 2 sources
• Added extra creator parameters for those situations when there is more than one
• Removed Producer parameter since it was never used

Page Changes

• Added a '/s' to Pairing
• Now uses {{Pairing list}} and {{Pairing list entry}} for pairing lists.
• Now uses {{BLCD tokuten}} for tokuten CDs.
• Now uses {{BLCD categories}} for the category list.
• Now uses {{Role categories}} or {{Role cat}} for Seme and Uke Role categories.
