Tachibana Shinnosuke (立花慎之介, April 26, 1978 - ) is a Japanese voice actor (seiyuu) born in Gifu prefecture, Japan. He aimed to become a seiyuu as a result of watching the anime “Ah! My Goddess” on laser disc. He graduated from Aoni coaching school in Tokyo in its 18th graduating year.

He made his seiyuu debut as Kyou in the anime “E’S OTHERWISe” in 2003. He joined Production Baobab soon afterwards. With his clean and refreshing voice, he mostly plays the roles of boys and young men. He has voiced roles in numerous anime, games, drama CDs, and radio shows. He has also worked on narration and dubs of foreign films and TV dramas.

From 2006 to 2009, along with Naruse Makoto, he formed the music unit “LUX-AGE,” which he wrote some of the lyrics for.

Being the same age as fellow seiyuu Ono Daisuke, Kondo Takayuki, Suganuma Hisayoshi, Hino Satoshi, Fukuyama Jun, and Majima Junji, they created a unit called “Project DABA” (the letter “D” is written inverted). His nickname in DABA is “Namahage.”

In May 2011, he left Production Baobab. He joined Axl-One the following June 1.

From April 4, 2009 to March 30, 2013, he and Hino Satoshi hosted the weekly web radio show “Hino Satoshi vs. Tachibana Shinnosuke Heisei Nippon Kunitori Gassen Radio.” It aired every Saturday 26:30-27:00 on Anitama.com.

From this radio show, their music unit “ELEKITER ROUND 0” was born. ER0’s music is produced by ZIZZ STUDIO and they are signed to the Marine Entertainment label. His ER0 profile describes him as having a “sweet and glossy tenor voice, but shows cool and wild vocals with an edge.” He and Hino write some of their own song lyrics. On October 27, 2010 they released their 1st mini album, “Zero.” Although not included in the numbering of their mini album releases, ER0 collaborated with Mitsuki Saiga feat.JUST on the mini album “Divine Chair,” which was released on May 11, 2011. On November 26, 2015 they released their 8th mini album “Ano Hi no Akanezora no Shita de.”

DABA members appeared as guests in the “Kunitori” radio show and DVDs, as well as in the PV of ER0’s 2nd mini album “MARIA.” Afterwards, DABA continued to release a series of DVDs of the members doing activities together.

At the Marine Super Wave Live 2013 concert, he and Hino made a surprise performance as a new unit, “Noumin Ikki” (in addition to performing as ER0). Noumin Ikki is mostly for humor and to excite the MSWL audience, but they have also released music under this name. So far, they have 2 singles and 1 mini album which they released on April 22, 2015.

After “Kunitori” radio ended, they hosted a new show on Anitama.com called “Hino Satoshi Tachibana Shinnosuke Meimon Outlaw Gakuen.” It aired from April 6, 2013 to September 25, 2016. After “Meimon Outlaw” radio ended, they started hosting a new show called “the AUDIENCE ~Sentakugata Radio~” on Niconico. It began airing on April 6, 2017.

In 2013, he debuted as a manga author with his first serialization in the August issue of Kadokawa Shoten’s “Young Ace” magazine. His supernatural mystery manga, titled “Hakoniwa no Fräulein,” was illustrated by newcomer manga artist Oka Okasaki, while he wrote the story. In July 2015, he also wrote a mystery light novel titled “Tantei Shitsuji Kujo Koshiro.”

In “Seiyuu Lovers of Battle Spirits Broadcast” he took on the name of “Mister” of the Battle Spirit world. His call and response phrase is “Mister? No! Master!!” For the 4th season of Battle Spirits, he became the mascot “Justice Tachibana” with the catch phrase, “This is my justice!” In the 2012 Cartoon Network series, “Let’s Play Battle Spirits! X,” Justice Tachibana or Galaxy Watanabe would battle a guest child in the card game and discuss the strategy afterwards. His mascot character even made an animated appearance in the “Battle Spirits Sword Eyes” anime and was voiced by him. In 2016, he changed his mascot name to “Legend Tachibana” and phrase to “This is my legend!” for the series, “Let’s Play Battle Spirts! VS”

On October 9, 2015, he began airing his own weekly radio show “Tachibana TV” on Cultural Broadcasting web radio “Chou! A&G+”. It airs late every Friday from 27:00-27:30.

On January 5, 2017 he announced his marriage to fellow seiyuu Takahashi Ao on his blog. They had entered the family registry on January 1.
